JOAN MUST DIE* (* I Never Liked Her Anyway)
In the tradition of Bridgerton and The Great, Joan Of Arc is about to come of (r)age in a play that mashes historical biography with the rules of reality television (spoiler alert: there are none).
This is an urgent, meaty and ultimately moving depiction of a girl done wrong, a post-postmodern portrait of a young woman whose fate is giving off sparks as rumours spread, opinions catch like fire, and judgement begins to burn.
In a world where getting cancelled means getting the stake, JOAN MUST DIE* (*I never liked her anyway) asks have we really changed?
Who monopolises the truth? And how do you find your way back to authenticity when the trail you blazed is now scorched earth?
